How about assurances that American truck drivers are not joining the
millions of unemployed Americans who have lost their jobs to
immigrants, illegal aliens, and the loss of factories to Mexico and
China?

What good will that do? Regulations on Mexican trucks will be
enforced in a similar manner to immigration enforcement: just smoke
and mirrors. After all it's the same federal government in both
cases. The feds haven't said anything about it yet, and already I
don't believe a word of it.
