GUADALAJARA, Mexico – There is a mood of cautious optimism in the
Mexican press about El Tri's chances in Saturday's Gold Cup final.
There's also a healthy dose of respect for the US team. Mexico legend
Luis García, writing in Record, nicely sums up ...

Mexico's team played supurbly well. They're a world-class team. I
was forced to wonder if the American goalie didn't get paid to throw
the game to the Mexicans. It looked as if the Americans deliberately
gave goals to the Mexican team. At the very least, the American team
needs to replace the goalie.
