Tequilas can taste of butterscotch or even tobacco. Why cover that up
in a margarita? "I really enjoy just sipping a nice blanco or a
reposado with an ice-cold beer," she said.

Today may be U.S. tequila lovers' favorite holiday, but Cinco de Mayo
isn't a big deal in Mexico, where Independence Day is Sept. 16 and the
fifth of May marks Mexican troops' 1862 victory over French forces.

Still, New York's Mexican restaurants and party spots are vying to
outdo one another this year with bands and wrestling.
