The U.S. is making Mexico an offer it can hardly refuse. A new
trucking agreement will make it easier for Mexican trucking firms to
operate in the U.S. This move is long overdue. Canadian truckers
already enjoy such an arrangement, so extending the terms to Mexico
furthers the harmonization of transportation rules across the
continent. Removing impediments to cross-border shipping will make it
easier for shippers to forecast their logistics costs and track
deliveries.

"Long overdue?" Like H1N1?

Because they are a civilized nation that doesn't export black tar
heroin, methamphetamines, and illegal aliens for profit into the
U.S.. They are demographically and racially more like the U.S. than
Mexico.

Putting hundreds of thousands of truck drivers and jobbers out of work
in the process during a protracted economic recession / depression
sounds like a job creation bill for Mexico and a shit-sandwich for
Americans. Expect corruption as American officials are bribed to look
the other way as human cargo and heroin are brought in on these trucks
in "hidden compartments." The question it raises is to ask at what
point does the treason and sedition in Washington rise to the level
that the American people turn off sports on their televisions and rise
up against the elected officials who are acting as our nation's own
worst enemies.

Guns don't kill people. People do.

Countries don't export drugs (of the illegal genre). Criminals do.

ps 1: The US is the biggest producer and consumer of marihuana and
methamphetamines in the world.

ps 2: More people have been killed by the US-exported guns than by the
Mexico-exported drugs, PLUS the many among the dead are innocent.

It is funny how you confuse the individual and the collective at your
convenience, Steve.

You claim that:

- The current descendants of Aztecs, Mayans, Navajo, etc. (the ones
that emigrated to the US from Mexico) have no valid claim to their
heritage.

- YOU (individually), however, have a valid claim to your heritage.

White supremacist hypocrisy and double standard at its finest.

Think about it: if you could produce something in the US, where there
is no shortage of land (for marihuana), facilities (for meth) or
labor, would you go to the huge trouble and expense to produce it in
Colombia, Bolivia or Mexico?

The only reason coca comes from the South is because it is a very
delicate plant, that only grows in very specific environment. It is
the panda bear of drugs. Similar with opiates.

Couldn't find consistent figures, but the US is a top producer of the
drugs that can be produced domestically and the main consumer of most
of the others.

I was in the Civil Air Patrol (no, did not meet Oswald there),
affiliated with the Air Force and one of our tasks was to look for
marihuana plantation from the air. We found one inside an Air Force
base land. My flying instructor told me: "Think about it: it is a
perfect location, isolated, heavily guarded".

How can Mexico have aproblem with imported guns? Doesn't Mexico
protect its borders?

They say the burden of protecting the US from illegal aliens and drugs
from Mexico is on us.
