I am working on a translation partially done by a native speaker. He
translated "is appropriate for" as "es apropiada para" and I wanted to
check the spelling.

But DRAE says that apropiada, apropiado, apropriada, y apropriado are
not in the dictionary. Is there a better word?

Molinar does have it, says it is the same as adecuado

Molinar does have it, says it is the same as adecuado
