Does it irritate you when shopping to find labels of products written
in Spanish? You have to twirl the product around until you come to
the side written in English. Or is it infuriating when you call a
company or service and the automated phone menu prompts you to push a
certain number button to hear everything in Spanish? You’re standing

No. it does not "iritate" me. Why? Everything was in Spanish for 500
years in the "U.S.",
English only entered the majority of the "U.S." in 1800s. to very late
1800s.
So it is understandable that Spanish is widely spoken in the U.S.
