It's fitting that a nation that depends on remittances from millions of
low-paid illegal aliens in Estados Unidos to maintain some semblance of
economic stability is home to the world's richest man. It's also
amusing, Jose, to see posts from a Hispanic such as yourself posting
words of adulation in the usenet community with regard to this pig,
Carlos Slim, as if his greed somehow gives prestige to Mexico and its
vast underclass. Mexico should erect a statue of Carlos Slim pissing on
Mexicans who pay coyotes to sneak them into the USA and laughing at them.

México´s Federal Budget for 2011 was 3 trillion, 438,895,5 million
pesos, or something like 275,000 million dollars.

Mexicans send to México every year something like 30,000 de dólares,
or slightly more than 10% of Mexico´s budget, so ¿how are these
remittances helping to make some semblance of economic stability in
Mexico?

No doubt the money sent to Mexico from USA is important, but not even
close as to be "the basis" for México´s stability or something like
that.

No diga pavadas, don Hitler.

I like that word you use, "anarcocapitalismo." So very descriptive.

Remittances to Mexico are less than 4% of their GDP.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/01/27/world/main6148649.shtml

The remittances total about $20-$25 billion. Meanwhile, Mexico is a
trillion dollar economy.

The situation for countries south of Mexico is another story
altogether. They depend on remittances by about 30%.
